Naturally you are going to hate Monday mornings… this means you have to get up early, go back to work, do your job, come home and deal with family, make dinner, go to sleep and start all over again. I know this sucks, but lets think of it a different way! Look at each Monday morning as a chance to start your week fresh. Do something this week you have been wanting to but haven’t had a chance to or been to afraid to. Think of something positive before you head off to work no matter how boring it is. WRITE it down if you need to and carry it with you, every time you get down read it. Be thankful that you have a job… there are so many out there that have been thrown into a jobless financial struggle because of the economy and the oil industry. Each day should be a chance to seize a new opportunity, make new or better choices. Be thankful that you have a wonderful life and remember that there is someone who is having a worse day than you are.
So grab your coffee, tea, or favorite morning beverage before heading off to work, and be thankful that there is a Monday! Have a happy, lovely, wonderful Monday!
Its Sunday! Which for all of you non weekend workers means relaxing, snuggling, spending time with family and friends, maybe running errands and playing with the kids (if you have any). For all the slightly more unlucky ones who must work today… work hard, work fast, so you can get home! I’m sure there are several other things you would rather do than be at work!
As for me… I am going to finish writing this chapter in my book and wait for my wonderful husband to get home. We have a bit of food shopping we need to take care of but then snuggling, video games, and movie watching!
What are your plans for today?
Grab a cup of your favorite coffee, tea, or hot beverage! Its going to be a beautiful day no matter where you are or what the weather is! Start your Saturday with a positive thought, hold on to it tightly, and when things get hard you can remember it and feel better!
Its the weekend! Go out and enjoy the day (or stay in) and have a great time!
This weekend starts the incredibly busy workload and although I only have 1 wedding this weekend and one next weekend it will be insane every week and weekend there after. I would be lying if I said I was looking forward to all the work I have coming up. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love my job and all my clients, but when you are going non stop with almost no breaks it begins to weigh heavy on the mind and body. Within the following weeks until April 4th I will have photographed and edited 9 weddings, 2 engagement sessions, a bridal session, and 3 portrait sessions. So I am sure you get the stressful part. Our much needed vacation to Vegas will be well desired by the time it arrives!
I have to agree with this quote! I know this year will not be easy by any means! In the end though when we pack up our car, watch our pod disappear, and start heading towards Seattle I know it will have been worth every minute of stress. I just have to remember the end goal and never give up no matter how hard it gets.
I know this all to well. I have worked for people who wanted me to build their dreams up and forget my own… But their company is stable, mine is not. I was in no position to say no to a job and unfortunately I have been stuck in this loop for the past 5 years or so. I don’t know about you but when I have a goal in my heart and something is holding me back eventually I am going to pop. Recently, this just happened.
My husband and I have decided to re-brand and more so re-launch our photography company. We are taking this year to comb through everything and get it done right this time around. Believe me, it’s very overwhelming to start from scratch, but in the end it will be totally worth it! And to finish off the year we will be moving away from our family to Seattle where we will begin a new chapter in our lives, building a future the way we envision. I know the road to get there is going to be long, tiring, stressful, and truthfully there are going to be times when I am not going to want to continue, but the inspirational pictures of our dreams that we have hanging on our wall will continuously remind us why we are working so hard to finish.
